With the support of South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA) and the implementation of BASIAD, the tourism-oriented re-planning of Babadag, a 700-year-old fairy-tale town where Denizli industry was born and now isolated due to intense migration, was performed in 2017. The district, which has migrated to the city center in the last 20 years and whose historical texture is in danger due to economic shrinkage, has stepped into a new development phase with the project.
During the project implementation process, detailed field analyzes, spatial planning and tourism-oriented economic perspectives has been created by our team. Babadag Tourism Strategy and Action Plan has been completed as a result of the strategic planning process in which Babadag people and industrialists from Babadag participated.
Babadag's Tourism Vision and the spatial planning projects produced, has been announced by BASİAD (Babadağ Industry and Business Association) in Denizli. At the same time, Babadag's first tourism-oriented website, www.babadagsenibekliyor.com, has been launched by the Force&Brothers team. The tourism vision we produced has been adopted by the local people and took place among the priority project topics of the Tourism Infrastructure Financial Support Program, announced by the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA) in the following period.
The economy of the district has entered into a tourism-oriented transformation and development process today, through to the touristic activities that started in Denizli's Babadağ county.
