Pre-Feasibility Study for the Turkish Chemicals Agency Completed

Türkiye kimya sektörünün kurumsal yapısının güçlendirilmesine yönelik önemli bir adım olan The Needs Assessment and Pre-Feasibility Study for the Turkish Chemicals Agency (TCA) has been successfully completed by Force & Brothers as an important step toward strengthening the institutional structure of Türkiye’s chemical sector., Force & Brothers tarafından başarıyla tamamlandı.

Conducted for the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB), the study adopted a multi-dimensional approach, bringing together contributions from public institutions, private sector representatives, academia, and civil society.

Throughout the study:

• The institutional landscape of the chemical sector in Türkiye was examined in detail,
• National plans, programs, and policy documents were reviewed,
• A comparative international benchmarking analysis was conducted,
• Focus group discussions were held with academics and sector stakeholders,
• In-depth interviews were carried out with public authorities,
• A needs assessment survey targeting sector firms was implemented,
• Findings were discussed and validated through a multi-stakeholder workshop with over 50 participants.

This integrated approach ensured that the study was not limited to desk research but was enriched through field insights and stakeholder engagement.

As one of Türkiye’s key industrial sectors, the chemical industry plays a strategic role through its strong export performance and its position as a critical supplier to multiple value chains. In this context, the TCA Pre-Feasibility Study stands out as a comprehensive effort built on a multi-stakeholder and evidence-based process.
