After the decision of the Higher Education Council numbered 2018.3.152, a comprehensive system development study was started with the support of Force&Brothers regarding the transformation of Bahçeşehir University's purchasing management system to the requirements of YÖK.
With this study, which we call the University Purchasing Management System (SAS); we have succeeded in constructing a purchasing system that complies with both the YÖK decision and the 'Foundation Higher Education Institutions Tender Regulations' published in the Official Gazette dated 16.11.2018 and numbered 30597.
In accordance with the regulation, all procurement workflows, approval and expenditure documents, standard tender documents, type contracts, University Purchasing Regulations, procurement guide and all auxiliary documents were produced with BAUSAS and presented to Bahçeşehir University. After the creation of the SAS system, the University procurement team and Force&Brothers experts carried out joint bidding practices and the transfer of know-how to the institution was successfully achieved.
With SAS, which is the first and fastest harmonization project in this field in our country, all our Foundation Universities, especially Bahçeşehir University, benefit from the system, and can now perform purchasing transactions much more effectively, quickly, transparently and in compliance with the Regulations.
