Our company also follows closely the changing needs and elevating values in the world and in Türkiye. In this regard, it monitors and improves its values continuously. It is apparent how urgent is the need to redesign the workplaces in the frame of equality of men and women, to review the fundamental values and to take steps for ensuring the sustainability in this regard.
Based on this perspective, we are happy to share with out valuable employees, stakeholders and the public that we adopted the Force & Brothers Policy Paper on Men and Women Equality Sensitive Workplace Code of Conduct issued in line with the 'Guide for Companies and Institutions Sensitive to Social Gender Equality' prepared by United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Force & Brothers is aware that the workplace codes of conduct sensitive to the equality of men and women is based on not just economic, social and humane requirements but also on the legal justifications. In this regard it accepts that the codes of conduct below are directly related with
the Republic of Türkiye Constitution of 1982 Article 10
Article 11 of Convention on the Elimination of all kinds of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) of which Türkiye is a signatory, and the Article 4 of European Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention) of 2011,
Labor Law no. 4857 article 5,
Occupational Health and Safety no. 6331 and the linked legislation,
Turkish Industrial Strategy Paper (2015-2018) Article 56,
International Labor Organization (ILO) Conventions,
United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Article 5,
United Nations Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs).

Our company considers this paper as a continuation of its steps taken for the equality of men and women and the good practice examples. By this, we wish to state that the women working within the organization of our company have no hindrances against promotion based on their gender, all our employees, women and men- are assigned regardless of their genders, and we shall protect our characteristic of 'being a leader and example' in our sector with our egalitarian attitudes.
Our company, in order to be a company sensitive to equality of men and women, is aware of the need of taking steps focused on the goals and results. Therefore, the company commits that the steps below shall be taken and continued in its organization. Also, our company accepts to be directly responsible for this paper to come in force and realization of the related actions.
The company management commits to lead the studies conducted and to be conducted on the matter of achieving the social gender equality.
Our company sees no gender in the work performed. There cannot be a discrimination based on gender in processes like wages, access to career opportunities, professional improvement, promotion etc. In this regard, Force & Brothers commits to promote the women employee among the men and women employees with same qualifications.
Our company gives care also to the diversity as much as the Social Gender Equality at the workplace. It aims to give priority in future employments to women desiring to enter the work force from especially disabled, refugee, and differen socio-economic sections.
Our company prioritizes the projects contributing to the social gender equality in its current and future projects.
Our company is aware of the hardships of our women employees in accessing the childcare services after birth. Therefore, considering the special needs of our women employees like nursing, a room shall be planned for use in need.
Our company believes that a balanced distribution of domestic responsibilities between men and women both shall increase the sensitivity towards the equality of men and women at workplace and also is critical to raise new generations internalized the equality. In this regard, our married or expecting employees shall be encouraged to attend to the parenthood trainings provided by various institutions in the mid-term.
Besides our female employees who are given their rights of maternity leave, daily nursing periods and unpaid leave in accordance with the law, our male employees shall also be encouraged to take paternity leaves and the family-friendly approach shall be continued.
Our company is aware that reserving financial resources and investing spiritually for ensuring Social Gender Equality are important. Therefore, it has decided to take steps in the following matters:
Our company, giving importance to the sensual safety as much as the physical safety of our men and women employees, shall primarily determine the needs of our employees in this matter. With this goal, communication channels shall be opened like mail and recommendation box in short term to determine especially the needs of our female employees special to the workplace, to meet and monitor them.
Our company is against all kinds of violence, sexual harassment and psychological violence (mobbing) at workplace. The offenders of violence shall be subject to administrative sanctions and in no way it shall be let violence culture to take root in our company. In mid-term, online trainings shall be outsourced regarding how to address the harassment in workplace. A report line shall be commissioned where all kinds of unethical actions including violence shall be anonymously notified.
Our company commits to choose business partners via considering the third party's equality and combatting violence policies.
Our company commits to deepen its business relations with suppliers belonging to female entrepreneurs. Force & Brothers shall take into consideration the businesses belonging to female entrepreneurs in purchases for workplace needs and under project scopes.
Our company cares for collecting the quantitative data of being a women friendly company and to share this data with the public. Therefore, we shall redesign our present database in short term to monitor the applications of women to our Company and create new follow-up criteria for measuring the women friendly performance of our company.
Our company is very sensitive on and shall continue to be diligent about the confidentiality and security of the personal data of its customers, stakeholders and also its employees.
For Force & Brothers, the workplace code of conduct sensitive to equality of men and women is a 'living and breathing' paper. Therefore, it commits that the application based on these rules shall be monitored in the presence of an independent auditor at least once a year, shall be reviewed according to the developing needs and new rules and linked applications shall be added to the paper according to the changing needs.
