This project aims to reduce the prevalence of tobacco use by organizing national public health awareness campaigns in the Eastern Mediterranean countries.

The project conducted mapping studies on the status of tobacco use and public health awareness in Iraq, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine. Awareness of tobacco use and its effects was increased in the 4 implementing countries through evidence-based national awareness campaigns.
